Kristi Williams joined Heartland Health Services in September 2021 as the Vice President of Clinical Operations. She has been working in healthcare for more than 30 years. Kristi is board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a clinical laboratory scientist with specialist certification in transfusion medicine. Throughout her career and prior to joining Heartland, her roles have spanned from laboratory management, project management/performance improvement, environmental services, in addition to oversight of patient access departments such as scheduling, referrals, patient navigators, and digital optimizations. Kristi is dedicated to assuring a positive patient and employee experience, as well as ensuring that Heartland Health Services fulfills its strategic commitments to high quality healthcare and easy patient access.
A native of Central Illinois, Kristi completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Illinois State University and her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Science from Michigan State University. She is currently working on her Doctoral Degree in Healthcare Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family in addition to outdoor activities such as walking, running, and kayaking.
