Children ages 6 months to 4 years
At the time of their first bivalent COVID-19 pediatric dose, infants and toddlers ages 6 months to 4 years old are recommended to receive 2 or 3 bivalent mRNA vaccine doses. These doses can be received during regular well-check visits at Heartland Health Services Carver, East Bluff, Garden and Knoxville.
Children 5 years old
5-year-olds are recommended to receive 1 or 2 bivalent mRNA vaccine doses at the time of their first bivalent COVID-19 pediatric dose. The vaccine can be received during their yearly well-check or school physical at Heartland Health Services Garden and Knoxville.
Children ages 6 years and older
Youth ages 6 years and older who are unvaccinated or previously received only monovalent vaccine doses are recommended to receive 1 bivalent mRNA vaccine dose. The vaccine can be received during their yearly well-check or school physical at Heartland Health Services Garden and Knoxville.
