Dia de los Muertos Remembrance Walk
Join Heartland Health Services as we celebrate Day of the Dead with Central Illinois’ first Dia de los Muertos Remembrance Walk. Saturday, October 28, 2023, 11am - 3pm. This family friendly 1-mile walk starts at Davidson Fulton Woodland Funeral Home in Peoria, IL. Then stroll through the beautiful and scerene Parkview Cemetery. The walk ends and the celebration begins at Imago Dei Church.
Registration is $20 for adults ages 13+. $10 for youth ages 5-12 and children under 4 years old are free with a participating adult. Registration includes entry fee and post-walk bag with glow in the dark sport water bottle. Day-of walk* registration is $30 for adults and $20 for youth (ages 5-12). Dogs* are also welcome to join the walk.
The goal of this event is to raise funds to increase health and wellness assistance for our low income, underinsured and at-risk communities.
