Larisa Savage, CNM, APN

Larisa joined Heartland Health Services in 2023. She chose to join the Heartland Health Services family because the Peoria area feels like home. She was excited to return and care for a community that shaped her into the midwife that she is today. Larisa had the privlege of caring for patients as a labor and delivery nurse at Methodist hospital and was excited to care for patients in her new role as a midwife. According to Larisa, "Heartland does a phenomenal job at meeting patients where they are at and ensuring patients needs are met beyond just medical. I feel very lucky to serve alongside an organization that prioritizes removing barriers for patients to access all health care services."

In her spare time, Larisa and her family love to spend time outdoors. They enjoy hiking, taking thier two large dogs for walks, biking, and swimming as much as possible during the summer months. Larisa has 3 children who keep her busy. When she is not running around with the kids, she loves reading a good fictional book and spending a quiet afternoon at a coffee shop.
