After Hours Care

After Hours Care is available, by appointment or walk-in, at Heartland Health Services - Knoxville. After Hours Care is open Monday through Friday, 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm.

Services available at After Hours Care:

Acute/Active Illness (all ages) 

• Allergies, Asthma, Wheezing 

• Sunburns and Minor Burns 

• Cough / Cold / Flu / Upper Respiratory Infections

• COVID-19 Testing  

• Sore Throat / Strep Throat

• Pink Eye

• Ear Infections

• Sinus Infections

• Headaches

• Bladder Infections / Urinary Tract Infections

• Nausea / Vomiting / Diarrhea

• Skin Infections / Rashes / Eczema

• Sexually Transmitted Infections/ Vaginitis 

Minor Injury

• Sprains and Strains 

• Sports Injuries 

• X-rays are not performed at After Hours Care

Routine care (by appointment) 

• Adult Physicals
• School and Sport Physicals 

• Newborn visits, including weight checks and bilirubin levels 

Vaccinations

• Please call 309-680-7600 to schedule a nurse visit

Procedures 

• Suture Removal 

• Wart Removal

• Minor Cut/Laceration Repair

• Incision & Drainage for simple abscess  

Lab testing 

• Broad range of laboratory testing available, as ordered by provider as needed

Teen/adult: 

• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) / Vaginitis 

Follow-up care (by appointment): 

• Post-emergency department visit checks 

EKG testing
