Kristina has been an employee of Heartland Health Services since 2009. She has been in the medical field for 39 years, starting as a pharmacy technician in 1985 later becoming a certified nurse assistant and shortly thereafter entering nursing school, graduating in 1994 from Methodist School of Nursing in Peoria. Kristina obtained her BSN from Aspen University in 2018 and went on to complete her master's degree in nursing practice, August 2022 at Walden University. She was board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nov. 11, 2022.
Her work experience has been very diverse including geriatrics, communicable disease, and substance use treatment with psych mental health weaved into all her practice areas. She is currently an associate member of ASAM, member of International Nurses Society on Addiction, and member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
