Amanda Boitnott, WHNP-BC

 

Amanda joined Heartland in 2025 but has been caring for women since 1997 when she graduated from the University of Kentucky Nursing school. She started as a Labor and Delivery nurse  at OSF in Bloomington for 10 years. She then pursued her Masters in Nursing and in 2009 obtained her WHNP degree and was certified in March 2010 to start practicing. She now has been a WHNP-BC for 15 years.

 

She is involved as a preceptor to MSN students pursing Nurse Practitioner degrees. She also loves being a part of the NPWH (Nurse Practitioners of Women’s Health) committee – Education and DEI committee. She loves to connect with other NP’s across the country and learn about the different healthcare landscapes across the U.S.

 

She has three grown daughters – 20, 23, 24 years old – and they are college graduates from University of Kentucky just like their mother! Her and her husband, Greg, have been married since 1997 and were high school sweethearts! In her free time she Ioves to exercise, lift weights, play golf and pickleball, read all sorts of books, and volunteer at Home Sweet Home Mission in Bloomington. She also takes care of our 2 West Highland Terrier dogs, Zoey and Ozzy!
