At Heartland Health Services, we understand that substance use can affect anyone--and recovery is not one-size-fits-all. Our team offers nonjudgmental, person-centered care that supports your journey towards healing, stability, and long-term wellness.
We provide Medication-Assisted Recovery (MAR) and counseling services in a safe, supportive environment to help individuals who are navigating substance use challenges and seeking recovery.
Our MAR and recovery services are available to adults who are ready to take steps toward reducing or overcoming substance use.
MAR combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders. We offer a variety of options for individuals facing opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder, and other substance-related challenges.
MAR is proven to:
- Reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms
- Support long-term recovery
- Improve overall health and stability
- Decrease the risk of overdose
Our team works closely with you to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on your needs, goals, and comfort level.
We understand that everyone's recovery journey is unique—and we’re here for all of it. Whether you're just beginning or have been working toward recovery for a while, you’ll be met with compassion, respect, and zero judgment. Our team is committed to walking with you through recovery, offering the encouragement, tools, and guidance you need to take your next step forward.
Our services are designed to treat not just the symptoms, but the underlying causes--emotional, physical, and social--so that you can build a strong and lasting foundation for recovery.
-
Medication-Assisted Recovery (MAR): We offer a variety of safe, FDA-approved medications—including Suboxone®, oral and injectable buprenorphine, and naltrexone/Vivitrol®—to help reduce cravings and manage withdrawal symptoms. MAR is offered alongside counseling to improve outcomes and support long-term success.
- Individual Counseling & Therapy: You'll work one-on-one with a licensed therapist to explore personal challenges, develop healthier coping strategies, and strengthen your recovery.
- Integrated Behavioral Health & Primary Care: Because your mental, emotional, and physical health are all connected, our clinicians work together to make sure your care is coordinated and comprehensive.
- Recovery Education & Skill Building: Learn practical tools for navigating stress, triggers, and relapse prevention, while building confidence in yourself and your recovery.
Your care team works closely with an outreach team of Community Health Workers (CHWs) to support every aspect of your wellbeing. CHWs help connect individuals to essential social support services like housing assistance, employment resources, and peer recovery networks. They’re also available to guide patients through enrollment in Medicaid, Medicare, or Marketplace coverage—making sure no one falls through the cracks when it comes to accessing care or support.
You can be referred by your primary care physician, or you can contact us directly to be seen for substance use.
