Angie Wilson, PMHNP-BC

Angie joined Heartland in 2025. She started her career with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, then graduated in 2008 from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO with a master’s degree in professional counseling. In 2015, she returned to Bradley University and completed a second bachelor’s degree in nursing through the accelerated nursing program. After working at OSF Medical Center in Peoria on the Neonatal Critical Care Unit for 2 years, she changed directions and started working at Fresenius Kidney Care in East Peoria as a Peritoneal Dialysis Home RN. As a home nurse, she taught patients and their families how to do dialysis in their homes and managed their care while they worked toward kidney transplant. While working full time at Fresenius, she returned to school once again to complete a master’s degree in nursing at Walden University. Angie specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health so she could combine her two careers into one rewarding career. She became board certified in July, 2025.

In her spare time, Angie enjoys spending time with her family, both immediate and extended, spending time with friends, photography, and reading.
